Why does Powerbar use genetic veggies/herb?
I used to share an office with MassGames at a company that marketed this male body spray type stuff that smelled like what I assume a roomful of date rapists smells like. We had these rear-view-mirror air fresheners that smelled like Pi Sigma Douchebag and used to hide them in desks in other offices when someone went to lunch. We would then wait for an IM from the poor bastards who we hit telling us that we were pieces of shit. It took like 2 days to get the smell of that shit out of a room.
This has nothing to do with Powerbars, I’m just reminiscing.
I was chilling on the Powerbar online community (I’ve got a lot of buds there), and I was trying to expand my horizons and research new flavors of Powerbars. I found this weird FAQ:

Do POWERBAR products contain Genetically Modified Ingredients?
POWERBAR uses ingredients that meet our high quality standards and are in full compliance with U.S. government regulations.
(BRO, THAT’S NOT WHAT I ASKED!)
Genetically modified (GM) crops grown in the US have been reviewed extensively by the FDA, USDA and EPA, who have determined that GM crops are as safe as their conventional counterparts. Because the use of GM crops does not affect the safety or quality of the ingredients made from them, we do not require that our suppliers specify the origin of the crops they use.(SO, YES? DAMN WHY U GOTTA BE SO POLITICAL?)

Thinking about not supporting (my favorite company) Powerbar because they’re trying to mislead dudes like me. It’s just not cool. I don’t want genetic shit in my bars, bro. Just want to add some bulk in a pure way.
